Oluyemisi Wada was born on the 8th June 1965 to a Lawyer Father and a Nursing sister mother. She qualified as a Lawyer from Buckingham University, joined the rolls of Solicitors in the UK and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990.

After briefly practicing Law and setting up a Law firm Summit Chambers she went into Oil trading and Business.

She founded Haven for the Nigerian Child Foundation in Sept 2008 after realising the scourge that is Street Children was very rampant in Lagos. She is very passionate about these cause and apart from studying under another Foundation ‘Save the Children’ to learn more she is an advocate for Children in Lagos State. A fact which has been recognised by the State Government hence her invitation to many Seminars with Unicef and the State on Policy issues relating to children and now she is on the Child Rights Implementation Committee for the State.

It was Bourne out of the need to make people aware of the problem she started ‘Asake Productions’. They produced ‘Oluranlowo mi‘ (My Benefactor) which was out in Cinemas in Lagos, Abuja and Uyo.

Lasgidi Cops is another production that came out of another topic which is close to her heart. ‘State Police’.
